how the f**k (fuck) do blogs become popular?
- Post regularly: With an average of 1.3 posts per month since joining, i suppose this could be improved
-Interesting subjects: check (have a read if you dont believe me)
- Advertise it: nobody likes SPAM, half the people on my facebook couldnt give a flying fish what i have to say anyway... there must be other ways..
whilst I dwell over this i'll take the time to sum up the first few days of rehearsals for 'Spring Awakening' .. this involved telling embarressing storeis of instances from adolescence, which for me included very awkward pornography errors and cringe worthy sexual experiences.... I feel the group (many of whom were strangers to me) now have a good understanding of what shameless attitude they're going to get for a month... someone else told the story of them soiling themselves on a beach infront of many hot girls.. im still chuckling. today involved a great blend of physicality and mentality. But enough about things that really matter.... obviously the pointless and the unneccesary make for much greater subjects. soo FACEBOOK.. here we go again..
Now ive accepted that im a hypocrite and that as much as I rage about facebook im probably using it more than most... but its these fucks without social awareness whom I either feel sorry for or want to punch in the face/uterus. Now without naming names, I see people day in day out expressing their 'depressed hard-up' lives expecting and baiting people to give them a virtual hug, and for anyone reading this who happens to constantly tell the world how much you hate, then love then hate then love then hate then love your bloody boyfriend... please stop, it just gets a tad frustrating having to constantly be told about it... if we gave a toss we would ask you ourselves.
Starting to feel peckish now.. having a chinese next door is a devil in disguise, great for the tummy not so great for the toilet. Alas the energy I could use on this blog needs to be conserved for tomorrows rehearsal... where one of my 6 lines might be involved and people can pretend im important.... I kid I kid obviously... cant wait to say ive performed on an Edinburgh stage, what a fantastic summer its turning out to be!
PEACE

Edinburgh Fringe festival and a student of stand-up
So in the last month or so alot has been happening, and I feel the need to update the blog infront of Michael McIntyre's comedy roadshow, whilst a whole bag of pistachio nuts struggle to pass through my digestive system.... its going to be an uncomfortable night. anyway, im off to the Edinburgh fringe festival in August with a lovely bunch of people to perform a play called 'Spring Awakening' this is good for many reason's one of which is that I get to stay in London all summer to prepare. and lets face it, its fucking good here.
With this show coming up there hasnt been much time for many other activities, apart from still trying to write my jokes AND looking for a job (they are activities, fuck off) yeah I know... what a fantastic example of the modern student. Currently attempting to watch 3 hours of stand-up every day, its a tough life, but someone's got to live it. IF luck is on my side i'll be trying out the open-mic circuit before we pop up to Edinburgh, there's almost a no fear aspect with testing material for the first time and from what I gather every 'comic' crashes on stage early in their run. so it will be alot of fun. One comedian compared her first attempt on stage as being equally painfull to losing her virginity... thats nothing compared to the pain I suffer from still having mine (I kid) see.. the things we do for a cheap gag.

Taste, influence, new
Got a ticket to a small Dan le sac vs scroobius pip gig during the week, was brilliant.. liked these two for a while but seemingly i tend to like artists alot more after i've seen them live, as if some kind of connection has been made! lol..
Been listening to their old and new albums, its refreshing to see and hear great lyrics and word play with top beats, rare these days.. even went and purchased scroobius pip's book of illustrated poetry, great read! inspiring aswell, might start proeprly thinking about writing some form of poetry, as long as its REAL enough... if im walking around these days saying everything in my head in rhyme.. may aswell put it to paper... good time consumer perhaps
Assignments all finished, leaving kingston in a few weeks and shall return to essex with no real plans, think i will just walk into my house, sit down, and get up again on August 21st when we move back.
Had a rant at facebook users today, on facebook.. of course..
Note the irony.
Have a nice weekend any lost internet user who is on this page.

why do people on fb say hello to objects, situations and entities as if they will talk back? why do people on fb 'like' anything and everything they may have at somepoint said in conversation in their life? why do people on fb vent relationship issue's to a wall? why do people on fb state things that they wouldn't ever state in person? and why do people on fb ask questions.. just for the sake of asking?
Note the irony.

S'appenin?

This was a great night out. MIB rocked it ! learnt the dance and everything ;)
Essay's and assignments, getting there... interesting i know
June 1st is when it all ends academically, and the fun can begin
"not a day goes by where i dont think about the truely hated, i fucking love it"... thats a quote from me, just thought it would look more official in speech marks.
Topics... er, well nothing particularly new has arisen... i once again proved to myself that time is a healer, and a good nights sleep (or a couple drinks) are superb aids. - superb and aids, not two words i thought would appear next to eachother any time soon. I sat here yesterday and instead of writing 1000 words on poetry and drama, i pieced together a pretty impressive comedy routine based on downs syndrome and fat people. Never having a go, my mind is just a tad berserk.
This song has been in my head for days now :)

Essay writing?... nahh, I know, lets write a poem.. brilliant.
The Lock
Oh and yeah im aware the poem is not proffessionally structured, some lines have rhyming couplets and some dont. I just put a pen to paper and didnt really care :)
PEACEEE!
To unlock the door we need not a key
We should study its mechanics mentally
Focus on the hole and the vision you see
This makes the use of a key unneccessary
We aim to break boundaries, rush, and have a greed to learn
Determined to find the physical key instead of waiting our turn
Push n' pull from short to tall, we're never satisfied until the next door is reached
Yet its funny how we never open them for those who practice what they preach
And when we slam it in their faces we say its because life's a beach.. - chair
Spend days in the sun we're not one's to run when its fun its fine when its done we shun
See we thrive of success we never claim that we're blessed.
No its only our gain that keeps us sane
The physical represntation of a key is never lost, always found
We can't help but push and break the next door to the ground
The lock that stands before us is a mere mortal
No way. ignorance is a crime and thats a very criminal thought
The need for greed is causing society to bleed
Such a falsified creed
So to society I say stop smashing through doors, stop acting malevolent
Study the lock hard enough, an open clear mind makes the physical key irrelevant.

yeah, im not really sure what started me writing that, I suppose living in London the past year and seeing how people never stop and take a breather made me think that society in general is one big power hungry force that is never satisfied. Perhaps if people were not so fixed on the next goal, and just took time to focus on whats in front of them, stress wouldnt interfere with so many of us.

.....Thinking.....
Chances, how to make them? when to take them?...the second question is one that forces the mind into a battle. and the first question is irrelevant, because it wouldn't be a chance if we could conciously make it, right? Chances are simply 'risk = profit/loss' either outcome can bring joy or force regret.
Taking a REAL chance is when you're aware that when all cards are on the table, the outcome is unknown. When every truth is revealed, the conclusion can't be forgone. So when you hear a story of somebody cheating on a partner behind their back and they claim they have innocently 'taken a chance'... ignore it. (im aware this sounds like its building up to a personal sob-story, but dont worry, its not one) ignore it because this person has not taken a chance, they know full well what the outcome would be if everything was exposed; that claim of taking a chance is simply scared selfishness.
... thinking...
So, this mental battle, and by 'mental' i dont mean "THAT WAS MENTAL BRUV".. just to clarify, *hehemm*.. So, this mental battle consists of story-telling. circling around the brain is the risk, and on one side is the image and story of the ideal. The outcome that if life was multiple choice, you would choose this. And on the opposite side sits the image and story of a worst case scenario, the bad dream situation that would much rather be avoided. The more we tell ourselves these two different stories and the more we build on them; the greater the power and meaning of the chance. Amongst these 3 aspects inside our heads... there lies a safety zone ( I may pledge all this to a video game developer actually, its starting to sound like one! ).. anyway, the safety zone is simply not taking the chance at all, forgetting any possible outcome and just remaining untouched. constant. life would be alot more bloody exciting if this part of our mentality didnt exist. Imagine that, always forced to make choices that end in one extreme or the other ( ok now this is starting to sound like a good film idea, im on fire! )
... thinking...
Most people definately end up staying in the mental safety zone, everyone around you might be suffering a mental anguish not knowing if they should take a chance. And you may never know because its never revealed. its kept safe. basically, self - fucking - conciousness gets right in the way all the time, its like the annoying spare part person who follows you everywhere, annoying you and holding you back. Bastards.
Not too sure where im really going with this one.. as the title suggest's i am just thinking and then typing. Never mind. Nothing interesting has happened today anyway. Theres my take on chances (clever use of words there i know) the REAL one's can make or break you... and staying safe can be just as devastating as the break.
